XD I want to color all the line arts in my gallery in MS Paint, but each one takes such a long time -_- I need motivation! Motivation is key! Seriously, but my online school teachers say that I can get credit for my artwork on here if they treat it like a long term art project. That makes me happy ^^ maybe that's enough motivation.

I need to stop posting the lineart before the finished work, but its easier for me, because then i can at least submit something. Maybe instead, I should submit sketch dumps?

I need to actually ignore everyone for a while to work things out, for my art and my school work. Because of babysitting everyday, I'm waaaay behind on my school work. I actually need to make up a full semester, I'm pretty sure XD oh god, what am I doing with mylife. Haha. *sigh*

My name is Kayla. The name of my account is actually the name of a character I frequently draw and write about in short stories or fanfictions.

I am indeed an artist. I mostly draw manga style using a mechanical 7mm graphite pencil. I think only 2 of my pictures are in color, and the rest are in black and white.

I use a lot of references for my pictures. What I'll usually do is Google a certain pose for a picture and use that as a reference, so you may recognize similarities from a picture you may have seen before. I am in no way trying to copy the original artist/photographer that I use as a reference. I do use bases sometimes, but very rarely(though more frequently as of late)

Interests
